Melanoma

It is characterized by the ABC's

• Asymmetric shape
• Border is irregular
• Color is variable (it is not a uniform color)
• Diameter is greater than 6mm
• Elevation of the lesion (it is not flush with the skin)
• Exposure to sun (history of sun burns)

If any of these apply to your skin spots, you should see a Plastic Surgeon or a Dermatologist to be properly examined.
