Extensor Tendon Injuries

Extensor tendon injuries require immediate attention. If you have sustained a cut on your hand and now are unable to extend (straighten) your fingers or wrist, you should seek medical attention immediately. You will require surgery to have your tendons and any other injured structures repaired. If left untreated, you may loose complete function in you hand.
