Toronto Vaginal Tightening ( Vaginoplasty)
Vaginoplasty surgery restores vaginal tightness and shape which has been distorted over time. The procedure involves removing stretched vaginal tissue, tightening of the vagina, and tightening of the vaginal opening. Dr. Jugenburg performs vaginal tightening procedures to correct a stretching following childbirth and to help improve satisfaction from intercourse
Vaginal Tightening Recovery
After Vaginoplasty surgery you will have bruising, swelling, and minor discomfort in the groin area. Swelling and bruising will be most noticeable after the first day and will slowly subside over a period of 2 to 3 weeks. Following Vaginal Tightening surgery you may have packing left inside which needs to be removed the following day. You should avoid sexual intercourse for 6 weeks to avoid injuring your healing wounds. You should wash/irrigate with plain water three times a day for the next week. Your stitches will be disolvable, so you do not need to have them removed.
Vaginoplasty Benefits
Vaginal tightening surgery reduces the diameter of the vagina and decreases the size of the vaginal opening. If age and childbirth have stretched your tissues and sexual intercourse is not the same as it used to be, you may benefit from this procedure
Vaginal Tightening Risks
Vaginoplasty is a surgical procedure. Like all surgical procedures, there are general risks. Please read our information page on potential risks. With regards to vaginoplasty in particular, there are special considerations that need to be taken into account. These include bleeding, infection, and breaking of the stitches which may lead to the opening of your wounds. In rare cases an injury to deep layers may occur. If this occurs, you may require additional surgery to correct it.
